  • Mission

    I have been following my mission through to lose weight, I even got some new scales. They have that BMI calculation in it so I have set it up with all my details and stand on the silver plates to see how well I am doing. I know it is not a clear indication because I realise there is a lot more science behind it than that but it does make it more interesting. I have also worked on my diet. I mean that I have also got a new cookery book which is full of ideas on which foods to mix together - I always struggle with this as my partner has a fairly active job and I have a sit down job so he always want big portions and the traditional meat and two veg. Which is fine but they tend to be heavy dinners and that is what I am trying to cut down on so there are some compromises at the minute. I will let you know how it is going!!!

    Hello everyone,

    I forgot to say hi over christmas, we went away in the end - which was actually a little stressful, as we have both been so busy at work, we left from work on Friday night and flew over to spain to see some friends, we had a great time and it was nice to get away. Odd to be somewhere sunny for christmas but nice not to be somewhere rainy and dark. We flew back for new year and went to a friends party on the street, they had fireworks and lots of munchies was a great night. I cannot believe we are in 2009 how did that happen. I think that is an old person thing to say so it must be old age. My aim for 2009 is to definately lose weight and set myself realistic targets for it. I have been taking my appetite suppressants, I have been looking for the best and cheapest exercise place. I want to join something I like. I have joined gyms before with all good intentions and then a couple of months in I get bored and don't carry it on. Which is naughty. Hopefully it will be all good.

  • feeling poorly, losing weight and christmas shopping

    I have not been to spinning this week, I have not been feeling to well - I think it is just a winter bug but I have been feeling really drained and been feeding my cold as the saying goes. Which isn't good for my diet and weight loss mission. I have been eating soup and dipping in big chunky bread. It has made me feel better poorly wise but feel naughty food wise. So when I am better I am going to lose weight for christmas.

    I need to start my christmas shopping too, I have a lot of family and so I usually like to start early but with being poorly I haven't even looked yet. I don't even know what I want to get people which is unlike me.

  • tone, lose weight, extra skin

    I have found some really good exercises to lose weight and maintain it, I have joined spinning class, which is great fun, I think I have toned on my legs, or may be I am exagerating but feel better. I would like to lose the extra skin, which the more weight I lose the more it becomes a problem.

    How do you lose extra skin? I might go see my doctor about it and see what he says, just a bit worried about being laughed at, its not really a medical problem just don't like to see it.

    I have been shopping for some new clothes which has been fun, but finding stuff I like that fits properly is really hard.

  • exercise and lose weight

    Sam and I are working really hard with our natural weight loss. She looks really good now and we are going to go shopping this weekend to see whether we can find some nice new clothes.

    I think I am still a bit of an odd shape with my weight loss I wish I could choose where I want to lose the weight rather than it all go from the same area.

    Does anyone have any exercises which will help me lose weight all round?

  • Joint weight loss

    Sam and I have been working hard to lose weight together and I think it is going really well. We have decided to have weigh ins each week and I am writing down what I am eating so I can keep track. I think it really helps with my progress.

  • abs weight loss

    My partner is obsessed with losing weight at the minute and is really down about his weight, I don't know what to say to him - I have not seen him down about his appearance before which is odd. I have told him he is not fat, I think it all started from when we swapped doctors when we moved he weighed more than what he thought - and the doctor pointed out certain areas of his lifestyle that weren't healthy. We have both started to eat better and I could do to lose weight too. I found this from the place where I get my fat binders from I think it will really help him to lose weight abs diet

    Then everyone will be happy and skinny ;O)

  • I m back with more to tell

    So excited I have just booked my summer holiday, we are going to egypt, never been there before but really looking forward to it. Have so much stuff to buy... My only major concern now is that the friend I am going with is majorly skinny, I feel like I need to lose weight otherwise on the beach I am gonna look big stood next to her, so part of me is really excited the other part is apprehensive. So I am on the hunt for a really good diet, one that doesn't restrict me too much on what I eat, I am happy to eat healthy food but not to eat carrots the whole time. So on the look out for a good diet, I was thinking diet pills as I have read some really good reviews just recently and that won't be life changing. I am just not sure how much you can lose say in a week. I am hoping that it keeps the weight off too.

    On other stuff, my new job is going really well and everyone is really nice so, I have just finished my first major project and got really good reviews back from everyone concerned - so really pleased I took the plunge and swapped jobs.
